Key Features: Known for its clear streams cascading down rugged cliffs into refreshing freshwater pools below.
Atmosphere: An uncrowded, off-beat sanctuary that blends light outdoor adventure with a peaceful environment.
Ecosystem: Surrounded by diverse tropical vegetation, the area serves as a rich habitat for native birds, insects, and plant species.
Ideal Months: October to February (The post-monsoon and winter window).

Step 1: Port Blair to Rangat
By Road: Travel approximately 170 km along the Andaman Trunk Road (ATR) via private cab or government bus. The journey takes roughly 7 to 8 hours through forest reserves and small villages.
By Sea: Board a regular passenger ferry from Port Blair to Rangat for a scenic 4 to 5-hour voyage across the Andaman Sea.
Step 2: Rangat Town to the Falls
Local Transit: Hire a local taxi or auto-rickshaw from the town center for a short drive to the designated drop-off point.
The Final Trail: Complete the last leg of the journey via a clearly marked, short foot journey through the forest.
Footwear and Safety: Wear sturdy hiking shoes or sports sandals with excellent grip. The rocks near the waterfall and pools are covered in moisture and can be exceptionally slippery.
Water Safety: Always assess the depth and current of the pools before jumping in. Swim only if you are confident, and never swim alone.
Timing: Start your trek early in the day to enjoy the falls at leisure and ensure you complete the return hike well before dusk.
Pack Essentials: Bring your own drinking water, snacks, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Keep a basic first-aid kit and a power bank in your pack.
Connectivity Disclaimer: Mobile network coverage is highly unreliable or entirely absent on the forest trail; download offline maps before setting out.
Environmental Custodianship: Protect this pristine habitat. Pack a dedicated trash bag to carry out all personal waste and plastics, leaving no litter behind.
